Accurate bending is critical for assembly, welding and final appearance. With the STON CNC press brake, the ram movement and backgauge positions are controlled precisely, so each bend matches the programmed angle and flange length. Proper crowning and tooling selection further improve straightness and reduce angle variation. This stability in bending quality shortens adjustment time, simplifies fixture design and keeps production running smoothly.
Our CNC press brake machines consume only 40%–60% energy compared to traditional hydraulic press brakes, operate at noise levels as low as 75 dB, and cut maintenance costs by up to 50% (no need for hydraulic oil or frequent filter replacement). With 4–8 axis control, digital programming, intelligent compensation, and an intuitive human–machine interface, they adapt easily to small-batch customized production and large-scale efficient processing. The built-in fault self-diagnosis ensures quick troubleshooting and stable, long-term operation.
The press brake frame and ram are made from high-strength steel, welded and stress-relieved to reduce deformation. Precision guides guarantee smooth ram motion and maintain parallelism, which is essential for consistent bending angles along the entire working length.
The servo-driven backgauge system positions sheets accurately for each bend. Multiple axes and fingers can be configured to handle complex parts with several flanges, helping operators set up jobs quickly and reduce manual positioning errors.
Standard and special punches and dies are available for different bending radii, materials and thicknesses. Quick clamping systems make tooling change faster, enabling your workshop to respond quickly to small batches and mixed orders.
Depending on the model, the press brake uses a reliable hydraulic system or energy-saving servo drive to power the ram movement. The system ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration, uniform pressure and stable operation during long shifts.
The CNC control allows operators to program bending sequences, angles and backgauge positions directly on the touch screen. Clear menus, graphical assistance and diagnostic functions make daily operation and troubleshooting easier.
Light curtains, foot pedals with safety interlocks, emergency stops and side guards help protect operators. Rational arrangement of doors and covers gives access to maintenance points, making daily inspection and service quick and safe.

The required tonnage depends on material type, thickness, bending length and die opening. You can send us your typical drawings and we will calculate the necessary capacity and recommend a suitable model.
Yes, we offer a one-stop service: “on-site installation + commissioning + customized training.” Professional engineers will visit the customer’s site to complete production line assembly and equipment integration commissioning to ensure the line reaches its designed capacity. We also provide theoretical and practical training for operators (6-8 days), covering equipment operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting. After the training, we provide an operator manual and video tutorials.
Customized services are available. We will optimize the machine structure based on the customer’s workshop space, load capacity, and processing requirements. While ensuring processing accuracy, we adapt the machine to the shop’s existing power and air supply conditions to ensure smooth installation and efficient operation.
We have established a 24-hour global after-sales response mechanism: Customers can submit troubleshooting reports via phone, email, or online customer service, and a preliminary solution will be provided within 1 hour. If remote debugging is required, an engineer will provide video guidance within 2 hours. For hardware repairs, domestic customers will receive a visit within 48 hours, while overseas customers can use authorized service centers or expedited delivery of parts (with installation instructions) to ensure a quick resolution.
All of our standard equipment (flexible bending centers, CNC turret punch presses, press brakes, and punching and shearing machines) comes with a one-year free warranty. For some products with higher system complexity, the warranty period can be extended to 18 months. The warranty covers repair and replacement of quality issues with core components (such as servo motors, CNC systems, and guide rails), as well as free on-site inspections during the warranty period. Please note that equipment failures caused by human error, force majeure (such as floods and earthquakes), or failure to follow the maintenance manual are not covered by the free warranty, but paid repair services are available.
Extended warranties are available, with coverage ranging from 1 to 3 years. These plans are customized based on the equipment type, frequency of use, and customer needs. A one-year extension for a single device costs approximately 3%-5% of the total price, while bulk extensions for multiple devices or fully automated production lines offer a 20% discount. During the extended warranty period, in addition to core component repairs, customers also receive a free annual comprehensive equipment inspection and maintenance service to help them proactively identify potential faults and extend the life of their equipment.
We offer flexible payment options to meet the needs of domestic and international customers: ① Telegraphic Transfer (T/T): 30% prepayment, 70% before equipment leaves the factory; ② Letter of Credit (L/C): We accept irrevocable letters of credit issued by the customer’s partner bank at sight to ensure the security of funds for both parties. All payment methods comply with international trade practices and support mainstream settlement currencies such as the US dollar and the euro.
A CNC press brake is a sheet metal bending machine that uses computer numerical control (CNC) to achieve precise, repeatable bends. Unlike a manual or conventional press brake, the CNC system programs the bending angle, backgauge position, and pressure, ensuring high accuracy and consistency in sheet metal forming.
A hydraulic press brake relies on hydraulic cylinders to apply bending force, offering strong tonnage for thick materials but requiring more maintenance.
A CNC press brake, on the other hand, combines servo motors and CNC control for greater precision, energy efficiency, lower noise, and easy programming. CNC press brakes are preferred for complex bending tasks, small-batch customization, and high-precision sheet metal production.
When choosing a press brake machine, consider:
Material thickness & length (determine tonnage and worktable size).
Production type (large-scale hydraulic press brake vs. flexible CNC press brake).
Automation needs (CNC system, servo drive, backgauge, crowning).
Budget & maintenance (CNC press brakes save 30–50% energy and reduce oil maintenance).
This ensures you select the most cost-effective solution for your sheet metal bending applications.
CNC press brakes are widely used in industries requiring precision sheet metal bending, such as:
Electrical cabinets and enclosures
Automotive and aerospace parts
Appliances and furniture sheet metal
Construction and HVAC equipment
Custom fabrication workshops
Proper maintenance of a press brake machine ensures accuracy and durability. Key practices include:
Regular lubrication of moving parts
Checking backgauge and grating ruler alignment
Cleaning hydraulic/electrical systems (for hydraulic press brakes)
Using proper bending tools and dies
Running self-diagnosis and CNC system checks
With regular care, CNC and hydraulic press brakes can deliver stable, long-term bending performance.
Commonly, it bends carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheets within the specified thickness range. Special materials can be evaluated case by case.
Hydraulic press brakes are robust and widely used for general bending. Servo press brakes offer lower energy consumption, higher positioning accuracy and quieter operation, suitable for high-precision or energy-sensitive applications.
Yes. The CNC control can store a large number of bending programs. Operators can quickly recall them when repeating the same parts, saving setup time.
Whether you're upgrading an existing line or starting a new project, STON will customize a CNC solution for your production.
